More About Square Dancing

Think you should get more exercise?

Need to get out and meet people?

Want to get more fun in your life?

Try Square Dancing!

Square Dancing provides both mental and aerobic exercise.

Square dancers are friendly, fun-loving people who will welcome
and accept you as part of the square dancing community.

Members and visitors alike are welcomed with handshakes
and "Yellow Rocks" (the square dance call for a hug).

Square dancing is EASY and FUN!

No memorizing steps or counting beats!

No worrying about being on the right foot!

All modern Western Style Square Dancing moves
are based on walking with, past, or around your partner
or another dancer in the square.

Modern Western Style Square Dancing evolved
from the mix of traditional country and ethnic dances
that U.S. settlers and immigrants brought with them
as they moved westward across the American frontier.
